What’s in your medicine cabinet? Did you know that pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) can be dangerous for the environment if improperly disposed?
Pharmaceuticals have a shelf-life just like any other product. Eventually they all become unwanted.
To be eco-friendly, remember these two steps:
- Properly store your meds until you are ready to dispose of them
- Take them to a collection event instead of putting them in the trash or down the drain
